Would it be possible to create a mechanized process that altered the CO2 amount in the atmosphere of mars through the use of a mechanized photosynthesis?

... but the big advantage of plants is that they are self-replicating.  Hard to beat in the end.

Thanks - Noos - hadn't seen that before - what a wonderful idea. Even if it had to be heavily subsidised on earth it would probably be better than just paying to remove the carbon.

I read somewhere that it is profitable if oil stays over $US 75 per barrel.
