Founded in 1992 by current CEO Steve Bennett, Starchaser is a private launch provider specializing in large payload sounding rockets. They also manufacture commercial aerospace components and sponsor a considerable educational outreach program. Their Nova series rockets are the largest ever launched from the United Kingdom. Starchaser is notable for its ongoing projects to create a commecial man-rated suborbital vehicle using an expendable rocket design, a heavy lift suborbital rocket, and a viable microsatellite launcher.
