Welcome all Herald Sun newspaper readers! The Herald Sun ran a feature article on First Words called Purlers For Mars, and as it says, you have about 12 hours from now to get your entries in before the competition is closed. For Australians, that'll be 10pm, and for people in the UK, that'll be noon. We will update this front page when the competition is closed - until then, you will still be able to enter.
The response to First Words has been truly phenomenal - I can say with honesty that none of the First Words team expected that we'd have nearly 4000 entries at this point from people all over the world. For one thing, it's going to make our lives difficult as judges - aside from the sheer numbers, it's going to be extremely difficult to pick out only a few winners from all of the excellent ones that have entered.
If your interest in Mars has been piqued by First Words, try checking out our New Mars online magazine; we have a whole load of interviews, articles, reviews and stories there that you'll enjoy.
